Considered a genius due to having the highest grades in the country, Miyuki Shirogane leads the prestigious Shuchiin Academy’s student council as its president, working alongside the beautiful and wealthy vice president Kaguya Shinomiya. The two are often regarded as the perfect couple by students despite them not being in any sort of romantic relationship.
However, the truth is that after spending so much time together, the two have developed feelings for one another; unfortunately, neither is willing to confess, as doing so would be a sign of weakness. With their pride as elite students on the line, Miyuki and Kaguya embark on a quest to do whatever is necessary to get a confession out of the other. Through their daily antics, the battle of love begins!

It’s the battle of the wits story, but instead of L vs Light, The JoJo standoffs, we have Kaguya vs Shirogane! Tensai-tachi’s hilariously makes readers go throughout Kaguya and Shirogane’s adorable and funny mind games. Why do they do that? Well, they believe that if one of the other confesses his/her love for the other he/she will become the submissive part in the relationship.
Each chapter is episodic, it all ends with “Todays Chapter: X lost or X wins where X is either Shirogane or Kaguya”. Every character is overexaggerated for the extent of pure comedy.
The art style for Tensai-tachi is fantastic! The author really did a great job of depicting the emotions of each character making the scenes ridiculously funny. The author also keeps up with her fans, making an April Fools joke chapter this April and makes use of common tropes like The fanservice chapter and The beach episode!.
