The Top 7 Must-Watch Anime This Summer Season

Summer top 7 Anime

It’s that time folks, the new anime season has dawned upon us. A plethora of shows are on their way, so we’re here to give you the top 7 anime that will be worth to watch – read on!

7. Island

Urashima, an island far from the mainland. The people who live there lead carefree lives. But five years ago, the island’s three great families suffered a series of misfortunes and succumbed to suspicion. The people of the island cut off all contact with the mainland and began a slow decline. The key to saving the island lies in three girls who belong to the three families. But they are bound by old traditions, and are conflicted. On that island, a lone man washes ashore. The man claims to be from the future, and he begins a solitary struggle to change the island’s fate.

Sometimes I take a step back, stop all the hype this anime season, and just enjoy some good olde anime with moe and slow phased slice-of-life-y vibed shows.

Now, this anime was adapted from a visual novel game, expect to have a lot of flags that is oozing with romantic excitements!

Nature made Ash Lynx beautiful; nurture made him a cold ruthless killer. A runaway brought up as the adopted heir and sex toy of “Papa” Dino Golzine, Ash, now at the rebellious age of seventeen, forsakes the kingdom held out by the devil who raised him. But the hideous secret that drove Ash’s older brother mad in Vietnam has suddenly fallen into Papa’s insatiably ambitious hands–and it’s exactly the wrong time for Eiji Okamura, a pure-hearted young photographer from Japan, to make Ash Lynx’s acquaintance…

‘BANANA FISH’ is modernized for today’s taste as anime fans have greatly changed. So it’s nice since at least we’ll get a new modern take on the series.

5. Hanebado!

Ayano Hanesaki, a first-year student at Kanagawa Prefectural Kitakomachi High School, has a badminton ability able to surpass others effortlessly yet avoids playing the sport. Encouraged by coach Tachibana Kentarou, supported by club colleagues, and fired up by various rivals, the two engage in their youth and adored sport so thrilling like a shuttle flown at high speed!

But things don’t exactly go according to plan. Upon entering the shop, he encounters a group of rowdy, naked upperclassmen, who immediately coerce him into participating in their alcoholic activities. Though unwilling at first, Iori quickly gives in and becomes the heart and soul of the party. Unfortunately, this earns him the scorn of his cousin, Chisa Kotegawa, who walks in at precisely the wrong time. Undeterred, Iori still vows to realize his ideal college life, but will things go according to plan this time, or will his situation take yet another dive?

I can’t exaggerate how much you should watch this show! Imagine Prison School comedy, the seriousness and realistic art style, but without the absurdity and ecchi. The light-hearted themed comedy combined with a Slice of Life vibe will no doubt make you smirk uncontrollably.

3. Hataraku Saibou

The average human body contains about 60 trillion cells, and each of them has work to do! But when you get injured, viruses or bacteria invade, or when an allergic reaction flares up, everyone from the silent but deadly white blood cells to the brainy neurons has to work together to get through the crisis!

  1. I’m probably going to be watching almost all of these! I may skip out on Island as I’m not a big fan of moe, and FLCL just because I have never seen the first season/series of it, and won’t have time to catch-up with it this season. I may return to that one in the future. Excellent list!

  2. This is a good lineup. I’m interested in Grand Blue and Banana fish, but there are just wayyy too many series in a season to keep up with every week; I reckon I’ll just be bingeing those two along with Happy Sugar Life when the season is over.

      • I’m not sure yet. I usually try to pick a few to watch just for enjoyment without writing reviews, but then I end up writing reviews for em anyway haha
