The original source of Hachigetsu no Cinderella Nine is a mobile video game from Japan. It is one of those games that target hardcore otaku’s who are fond of “moe” games, turning up the moe meter up by a notch – they put the “oomph” in dere types.
I’m not really a big fan of pointless moe blob anime, so most likely I’ll drop this show.
Hachigetsu no Cinderella Nine is a show about girls playing baseball, and the different personalities of characters are the main show stoppers.
Every spectrum of “dere” type is present, so have fun watching if you like those.
Personally for me, the girls were not likable enough to remember, so I have no bias, and thus made me bored with this anime.
There is one which seemed worthy at first, the infamous kuudere clutz loli type where anime fans are easily captivated, pledging their virginity from left to right – but in the end, watching her felt painful rather than pleasant.
The characters of this show felt stupid, unnatural, and forced.
The show just feels too simple, no significant storyline is evident, and every scene was like a showcase of events that are just there to show the different moe tropes of anime for a quick cash grab.
The quality of animation is subpar too, there are some scenes which are very awkward knowing not much effort was spent in drawing those frames.
The overall production of Hachigetsu no Cinderella Nine feels like it’s on the low budget tier, which to be fair, is rightly so, this is just a companion anime for their main product, the game.
Since I haven’t played the game, and the show looks like it’s just for fans of the game, I’ll drop the show, sorry.
And that’s it. Thanks for the read! If you like what I’m doing, please follow the website on Twitter, subscribe to the newsletter, or like it on Facebook. Comment down below on what you think of Hachigatsu no Cinderella Nine.
